One for All Alaska Fund

At Credit Union 1, we believe that by supporting our communities we can improve the big picture of life for all Alaskans.

This belief is something we call living “One for All.” To us, living “One for All” means unity: everyone working together toward a common goal and recognizing that it’s our duty to give back to the communities in which we operate. That’s why Credit Union 1 has selected community change as our credit union wide focus again in 2017. Each year, the One for All Alaska Fund is used to raise money for organizations, which are chosen by our employees and support our focus. At the end of the year, the fund is zeroed out because ALL the money goes back into our communities. In 2016, over $256,551 was raised and invested back into our Alaska communities to help facilitate community change – a new record.

Whether it’s by providing safe and fun spots for our youth to spend time and learn, providing respite for those living in dangerous conditions, or ensuring our children don’t go hungry, each of these organizations are working toward positive community change, all over Alaska.

All money raised in each community will stay in that community.
