How do I earn points?
The main way to earn points is through the accounts, loans and services you use at CU1 – such as spending with your CU1 debit or credit card. The more business you do with us, the more points you’ll earn! Our Rewards Chart outlines exactly how you can earn points and what you can redeem them for.
How do I redeem points?
We recommend managing your rewards in Online Access via More > Rewards. You can also redeem points by contacting our Member Service Center by phone or visiting your local branch.
Do my points expire?
No. As long as you are a member in good standing with Credit Union 1, you will be able to use your points, regardless of when they were earned. The more points you save, the bigger rewards!
What is the best way to manage my points?
Via Online Access! By logging into your CU1 account online and choosing More > Rewards, you can watch your points accumulate, request rewards and more. Alternatively, you can always manage your points by phone or at your local branch.
How do I sign up for the Rewards program?
You don't! All Credit Union 1, members are automatically enrolled.
Do I have to pay any fees to join or participate in the Rewards program?
Nope, it's 100% free. Glorious.
How do I earn Rewards points with my Credit Union 1 Mastercard® credit card?
Whether you swipe, sign, insert your chip or pay online with your Credit Union 1 Mastercard, you’ll earn 1 point for every $5 spent. These points can be redeemed toward cash rebates and more!
When will I get my Rewards?
Cash rebates, discounts to existing loans or premiums on existing certificates typically take about two business days to be reflected on your account.
Can members be suspended from Rewards program? If so, why?
Yes. Suspensions would generally happen because an account is not in good standing with the credit union (i.e. it may be overdrawn or delinquent). It's also possible that legal action might have been taken against the account. If you think your Rewards have been suspended incorrectly, please call us or visit your local branch.
What do I do if I believe a mistake has been made in my points history?
Please call the credit union or visit your local branch so we can review your account.
What happens to my points if I close my accounts?
You will lose your points, because the Rewards program is only for Credit Union 1 members. Once you close all of your CU1 accounts, your points are forfeited.
