Ready to become a member of Alaska’s only state-chartered credit union? We'd love to have you!

Anyone who lives or works in our state is eligible for membership. Simply visit a Credit Union 1 branch or select "Join Us" below to complete your membership application, and then deposit $5 into savings to serve as your “share” in our member-owned organization!

To join us, you'll need: 

      • A valid, current form of identification, such as a Driver's License, State ID, Military ID or Passport.
      • Your current home address.
      • Proof of residence (such as a utility bill) if the address on your ID does not match your current physical address.
      • Cash, check, or a credit or debit card (either Mastercard or VISA) to fund your new account(s).
